The above pictures were all taken in 2017.
First 2 pics had eyeliner + mascara on, and the second 2 pics were totally bare in the eye area.
I think that in all 4 pics, I can see my right eyelid behaving as a parallel line.
By the way, if you want to have a parallel line, you have to opt for a high crease. My crease was about 8mm-8.3mm.
Previously, I blogged a post talking about 'Who Will Notice?' and 'Who Will Notice Part 2' because I believe one of the issues we face with doing surgery is being judged by people who'll notice a difference in our faces.
Well, in Part 2, I mentioned that most friends didn't even notice I had my eyes done.
Anyway, I met up with one of those friends a few months back, and she suddenly started talking about my eyelid surgery (which I thought she didn't notice!!). I was shocked and asked her 'So you knew all along?' and she said yes, but she didn't bring it up before because she was afraid of embarrassing me.
So I guess I was cheated into thinking that none of my friends noticed. They simply kept quiet out of courtesy :)
Anyway, my point is - She was talking about how badly her friend's double eyelid surgery turned out and she was very amazed with mine. She commented that it looks completely natural.
Basically, I just wanted to share with you what kind of comments I've gotten from friends in real life, and how they have perceived my surgery outcome.
