2 years 1 month

The above pictures were all taken in 2017.
First 2 pics had eyeliner + mascara on, and the second 2 pics were totally bare in the eye area.
I think that in all 4 pics, I can see my right eyelid behaving as a parallel line.

By the way, if you want to have a parallel line, you have to opt for a high crease. My crease was about 8mm-8.3mm.

Previously, I blogged a post talking about 'Who Will Notice?' and 'Who Will Notice Part 2' because I believe one of the issues we face with doing surgery is being judged by people who'll notice a difference in our faces.
Well, in Part 2, I mentioned that most friends didn't even notice I had my eyes done.

Anyway, I met up with one of those friends a few months back, and she suddenly started talking about my eyelid surgery (which I thought she didn't notice!!). I was shocked and asked her 'So you knew all along?' and she said yes, but she didn't bring it up before because she was afraid of embarrassing me.

So I guess I was cheated into thinking that none of my friends noticed. They simply kept quiet out of courtesy :)

Anyway, my point is - She was talking about how badly her friend's double eyelid surgery turned out and she was very amazed with mine. She commented that it looks completely natural.

Basically, I just wanted to share with you what kind of comments I've gotten from friends in real life, and how they have perceived my surgery outcome.

  1. Thanks for keeping the photo coming. I feel like your eyes only settle down 2 years after the surgery. Somehow, there's such a big difference between the 1 year 5 month and this post.

  3. Thank you for your detailed review!! It has been a great help! How is it now? Ive booked Dr. Tay because of your review and waiting for CB to be end!:) Do you feel your double eyelid is getting somehow weak because you did short incision? I requested for short incision too but slightly worried it will fade eventually.
